Anthony Howe

Anthony studied a Bachelor of Education (Primary Teaching) before founding a number of successful businesses in educational multimedia and mobile applications technology during 2000-2010. Anthony co-founded 5th Finger Pty Ltd, Australia's first mobile marketing and applications solutions company which was acquired by the PBL Group (ninemsn) in 2006, and again by Merkle Inc. in the USA during 2010.

Spanning a 20 year career focussing on the domestic and international commercialisation of mobile, internet & multimedia technologies, Anthony is a proven business leader & educator with deep commercial and technical expertise.

As a passionate and inspiring multimedia practitioner, trainer and educator, Anthony has developed and delivered training experiences and interactive learning products across a range of content areas including design, marketing, engineering, arts education and case management.

Anthony is an accomplished software & audio engineer and has worked on a number of successful recording and music technology projects. Anthony also plays the drums, and is one of Australia’s finest young custodians of the ‘classic’ jazz style. Nurturing his acute passion for New Orleans beats, classic swing, and plain ol’ groovy music, Anthony’s hearty antics at the drumkit are fondly regarded around Australian, international jazz and popular music circles.
